Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz recently expressed his gratitude for the emotional moment he shared with his family during the Democratic National Convention. While delivering his speech at the convention, Walz's son, Gus, was captured on camera tearing up and proudly exclaiming, 'That's my dad.'

Reflecting on this touching moment, Walz shared in an exclusive joint interview with Vice President Kamala Harris, 'I don't know as a father I could have ever imagined that. I'm so grateful for so many reasons to be on that ticket, but that moment... to understand what was really important. To have my son feel a sense of pride in me, that I was trying to do the right thing.'
