Tim Tebow has raised some serious money for charity by doing something kind of awesome: He auctions off his 2007 Heisman Trophy every year for a bunch of money.
And sometimes, some famous people win the bidding.
This is something that I just found out, even though it’s been out there before. While speaking to Dan Patrick on Monday, Tebow was asked about where his Heisman was, and he said for the past near-decade, he’s auctioned it off for people to have in their homes from six months to a year.
Turns out country star Luke Bryan won it recently … and he did some funny stuff to it because he’s a Georgia fan!
Fascinating story here
Kathie Lee Gifford won the auction too!
Tim Tebow doesn't have his Heisman Trophy. He actually hasn't had it for the last 8 years, as he's been auctioning it off for charity. Most notably to country star @LukeBryan and @KathieLGifford.
