After a 0-0 draw away to Manchester United at the weekend, Eddie Howe's men got back to winning ways, thanks to man of the moment Miguel Almiron finding the net on the half hour mark. While more goals were threatened, the score stayed at 1-0, with the Magpies climbing up to 6th in the table, just one point behind their Sunday opponents.
The atmosphere under the lights at St James' is famous for being absolutely top notch and former Auf Wiedersehen Pet and Benidorm star Tim and son Louis, who has starred in Vera, Emmerdale, ITV drama Hotel Portifino and the latest series of Ackley Bridge, right in the thick of it. The father and son duo were captured by cameras as Newcastle v Everton aired live to viewers at home on Amazon Prime.
Louis, Tim's son with ex Denise Welch and brother of The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, gave his Instagram followers an insight into the VIP treatment he got at the game, as he uploaded a picture of his place name on a table in an executive box. Fans watching the game on Prime were shocked to see Tim in the crowd, with one taking to Twitter to ask: "Did I just see tim healy?" with another swiftly responding: "You certainly did."
After the Magpies' win on Wednesday, there looks like being another reason for the Healy family to celebrate this week as The 1975's latest album Being Funny In A Foreign Language set to go straight in at number 1 in the UK album charts.
