Darren Till vs Anthony Taylor LIVE!
A bloody Darren Till beat Anthony Taylor in the main event of Misfits Boxing 20. The former UFC fighter was originally supposed to square off against Tommy Fury but the latter pulled out of the bout back in December and Taylor stepped in.
Though Till did not disappoint on his hugely anticipated boxing debut at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester. Dominating the opening four rounds, he landed a huge uppercut on Taylor in round four but the American was able to meet the referee's count. That gave Taylor a second wind as he fought his way back into the bout during round five, landing some huge shots of his own, one which caught Till right on the nose to draw blood.
However, Till woke up in round six. He landed another uppercut which put Taylor down again and though Taylor was able to beat the count, it was clear he didn't have much left in the tank. Till took advantage, pressed forward, landed two clean shots with his left hand and followed that up with a huge right hand before a third shot with the left dropped Taylor who fell face-first to the canvas.
