MAFS alum Domenica Calarco is facing criticism on TikTok following her recent appearance on The Shit Show with Tammin Sursok podcast.
The discussion took a serious tone as Domenica opened up about her mental health struggles, but it quickly turned into a battleground when Olivia Frazer, her former co-star, called her out in the comments reigniting their long-standing feud.
Domenica opens up about her mental health The Shit Show podcast
During the podcast, Domenica opened up about her mental health struggles since her time on MAFS.
Host Tammin Sursok commented on the impact of online hate, saying, “Those comments, you don’t know who you’re talking to and that person could be one step away from stepping over that bridge.”
Domenica responded, sharing her own experiences: “You know I’ve been there many times in that three-year period since the show (MAFS) aired and people can be so horrible. I hit a rock bottom that I’d never hit before and it’s a scary thing.”
Olivia Frazer’s response
When the podcast clip hit TikTok, it didn’t take long for Olivia Frazer to jump into the comments, and let’s just say she didn’t hold back. Olivia left several comments that questioned Domenica’s stance as a mental health advocate.
“Remember when I was publicly begging to be left alone and this woman kept perpetuating hate against me?” Olivia wrote in one comment.
She followed up with another, stating, “Remember when Kyle & Jackie O played a stolen sex tape of mine and this woman laughed and gossiped about me.”
In her final comment, Olivia wrapped things up with, “Maybe not the best ‘mental health advocate’.”
The history of Olivia Frazer and Domenica Calarco’s beef
The tension between Domenica and Olivia dates back to their time on MAFS, where they had several high-profile conflicts. Their glass-throwing, OnlyFans exposing feud will go down in iconic MAFS history.
More recently Olivia chimed in with her opinion on the breakdown of Domenica’s friendship and podcast with fellow MAFS co-star Ella Ding.
When asked about the frienship fallout on an Instagram Q&A, Olivia said she felt “very vindicated”, per So Dramatic!.
“It was always going to happen, the question was just when. That being said, I don’t wish them ill. I don’t wish them well either. When you’re negative, and all you put out and wish for others is negative, it comes back to you. So let’s all be positive from here on out because I know I am,” Olivia said to her followers.
When Dom saw our article covering the story (which you can read here BTW), she took to the comment section to share how she really feels about Olivia weighing in
“I haven’t spoken about that person in years and yet here she is trash-talking me without knowing anything about ANYTHING. Please go away,” Domenica wrote.
Both women have spoken about the impact the show and subsequent public attention have had on their mental health. Domenica has been open about her struggles, recently revealing that she spent 21 days in a mental health facility. This openness has generally been well-received by her followers.
Olivia has also opened up about the hate she’s continued to receive years after her stint on MAFS and the toll it’s taken on her mental health.
“Honestly, I’m so fucking sick of having to defend myself. It’s two years later. I’ve put in so much work for people to see that, like that show is not me. And I’m just really sick of it. I’m just really fucking sick of it. Like I just want to not feel like shit for once,” she said in an Instagram story earlier this year.
TikTok users weigh in on Dom’s podcast appearance
TikTok users seem to be siding with Olivia in this instance. One user commented, “Keep calling on her hypocrisy Liv!”
Another pointed out that Dom was accused of “Literally [throwing] an anti-Olivia party“.
But some users see that both girls may have been in the wrong before and both women can grow from their mistakes.
“I feel like people can heal, in the nicest way possible maybe you could also heal from the trauma that you’ve gone through. No one is ever innocent. It’s all our first time living. People make mistakes,” one user commented.
Domenica has not yet replied to or addressed Olivia’s latest comments.
The situation raises questions about accountability, forgiveness, and the challenges of navigating public conflicts while also addressing personal mental health concerns.
Maybe it’s time for everyone involved to take a deep breath, step away from the socials, and remember that behind every screen is a real person.
