TikToker shares 'genius' Ryanair luggage hack after spending just £8 on flight

As everything seems to be going up in price, we are all looking for ways to keep costs down.

And one TikTok has gone viral after the young woman showed a nifty trick that people are hailing it 'genius'.

Under the handle, @letsbefranc, Fran starts off by stating she got a flight to Milan for a mere £8 and is going for four days.

Holding up a holdall bag she bought from eBay -that is marketed as an under the seat bag, she said she could fit in everything she needs and put it under the seat - and avoid paying extra for cabin luggage.

With Ryanair, their value fare covers the cost of the flight and one small hand luggage with the dimensions of 40x20x25cm, and it must fit under the seat.

In the video she showed everything she was going to pack and started by rolling all of her clothes. She took three pairs of shorts, two t-shirts, two bodysuits, six dresses.

She then placed her rolled clothes into old Shein bags. The plastic bags from the fast fashion giant comes with zips on the top and seems to compress the clothes, although travel cubes or large toiletry bags can also do this.

Placing the plastic bags into the holdall, Fran then slid her flip flops and chargers down the side and placed her laptop and electric on top. She simply then zipped the bag up.

The video has gained a staggering 4million views whopping 391.8k likes with 9962 saves and nearly 1400 comments.

Many were asking where she got the holdall bag - to which she replied: "Search 'flight under seat bag' and lots comes up!"

Fran also linked it and you can see it here.

But while the bag was impressive, most were stunned at the use of the Shein bags being used to 'vacuum pack' her clothes.

"Using the old Shein bags is actually genius! Love that idea!", one commented.

Another added: "Shein bags are the best thing for holidays in my opinion."

"Great idea using the Shein bags as packing cubes", a third replied.

And a fourth added: "This is a skill I need to master."
