A TikToker has come up with a list of rules to enjoy a night out ahead of the Queen's funeral "respectfully".
Monday, September 19, has been declared a Bank Holiday so that the nation can watch on as Queen Elizabeth's funeral takes place. However, most people normally see an extra day off as a chance to enjoy themselves on a night out but may feel conflicted about doing so.
Max Balegde (@max_balegde) created a video on the social media platform suggesting ways that people can party on the Sunday as guilt free as possible. The clip, which has been viewed more than three million times, was captioned: "I think if we’re gonna go out we have to do it respectfully - gonna be an emotional time for us all."

He explained that he had previously asked his followers if anyone was heading out on Sunday evening, despite being the Queen's funeral the next day. He said: "You've all said that you're going. I said I'd do it if you do it so now I've got to bloody do it... Sorry Liz."
Max then went on to give his list as he said: "To make sure that we do this night out in the most respectful way possible, I've made a list of rules. Rule number one - wear black.
"I don't care if it's one item of clothing. I'm talking socks, a shirt, nail polish... anything to show your respects. The Queen has passed away."
He added: "Rule number two - convince one person in the smoking area that you met her." He went on to explain that swapping stories with fellow drinkers about the Queen will make it much more emotional when watching the funeral, therefore more "impactful".
Max's third rule was to request the national anthem in the club. He added: "I reckon that's just the most basic level of respect that we can afford for Queen Liz.
"Rule number four - if they don't allow the national anthem then ask for Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Firstly everyone knows that song, secondly, I'm pretty sure that the band were named after the Queen."
The list of rules concluded with a fifth. Max said: "Last rule - number five. Set an alarm for 10.30 because the funeral starts at 11am. You need to be prepared.
"I'm talking buy your sausages, buy your bacon in the day before so you can wake up and have a nice cooked breakfast and maybe it wouldn't hurt to also get a drink ready." He added: "We're going to be emotional guys."
