There’s nothing better than stumbling upon a brilliant, lucky, op-shop find. Whether it’s a pair of jeans that fit you perfectly or some vintage accessories you could never buy from a Westfield, there’s a unique and special joy reserved for uncovering second-hand treasure. This week, a TikToker had that joy multiplied by 1000 when they realised they’d somehow discovered what appears to be one of former Prime Minister Scott Morrison‘s family photo albums.
A TikToker named Charlie (@Charlifoo) was having a rustle around Rockdale Savlos in Sydney’s south when she stumbled upon a family photo album. When she took a closer look at the photos and captions, she realised that she was staring at a young ScoMo living his best life.
After uncovering the iconic album, she took to TikTok to share her discovery.
Now, we’d like to share some highlights that were documented in the album, like that one time he hung out at a lake.

Or that time Scott and Katrina were “living it up at the Sheraton”.

And who could forget the time Scotty boy had one too many Guinesses’ after a day with Steve on New Year’s Eve in 1996?
We’ve all been there, brother!!!!

Plus, you’d be mad not to document the time your wife was sick on her birthday in 1997 while you went exploring during an overseas holiday.
“Scott went sightseeing without Jen,” read a caption written next to a photo of a building.
“It was January 8th ’97… Jen’s birthday and she was sick, sick, sick with the flu… in bed.”
Not good if true, Scotty boy.

We’d be remiss not to include Scott and some rocks!!!!

Now, I know what you might be thinking. Is this AI? How did this personal family album end up in a random opp shop?
According to an AI image detector, these images are “not likely to be AI-generated or deepfake”. As for the latter, who knows?

Since the TikTok went viral, Scott Morrison released a statement to The Guardian asking for the photo album to be returned.
He claimed it was an “innocent mistake” donated as part of a box of donations.
