A TikToker said her family discovered a secret room in the back of a closet - that someone had seemingly been living in.
Sasha Jones responded to a question put forward on the online platform by user @hardboiledtaryn asking "is there a part of your house y’all never knew existed?"
Sasha went on to explain that she went away for a holiday and came back to her mum saying they would be moving out of their family home in just two weeks.
They had been living in the same apartment for 10 years - and it was only after they finally moved that Sasha said her mum sat her down to explain the reason why they had moved.
"So my mom is sitting me down and letting me know that, 'Hey, there’s actually an attic in our closet that we didn’t know about that wasn’t on the lease,'" she told.
Sasha says she was not aware the walk-in closet led to another room.
Her mum even suspected someone had been living in the secret attic at one point, which is accessible by moving a little square on the ceiling of the walk-in closet, Yahoo reports.
"She said 'it’s really heavy, but somebody was opening it from the top and moving it to the side'. It’s almost impossible to open from the inside, but when I sent your brother up there, he saw a bed, a dresser and sheets and a pair of shoes.
"And she said everything was covered in dust and there was one set of footprints to my room and back to the bed."
In a three-part series that has since been viewed over 3.5 million times, Sasha said when she was growing up she endured bouts of sleep paralysis, night tremors and sleepwalking.
But since moving out of the family home, she claims both the sleep walking and sleep paralysis have stopped.
Sasha said she and her family still don't have answers to questions about the 'hidden room' as they have not returned to the flat to investigate.
