Famous TikTok star Carl Eiswerth has died in a car accident at the age of 35.
The social media star was said to be in the passenger seat of his friend's car when they were hit at an intersection in Pennsylvania on Tuesday.
Police report that Carl died at the scene of the accident due to blunt force trauma. The road was blocked for several hours after the accident, police said.
Carl had around 500,000 followers on the social media platform prior to the fatal accident. His mum revealed she doesn't yet know whether the family will continue running Carl's page following his death.
His page usually consisted of videos of himself as he combined humour and wit to show his fans his every day life. Some of the clips involved him dancing.
After the news broke, fans of Carl - who was an avid wrestling fan - were quick to pay their respects.
Among this sending messages of condolence was 5 Star Wrestling. In a Facebook post, the company wrote: "The pro wrestling community has suffered a loss. We lost one of the most loyal fans throughout northeast Pennsylvania.
"In 2016 when I first brought pro wrestling to Williamsport. He was big supporter of ours.
"Carl was not only a fan, he was one of us."
Another fan penned: "Really gonna miss your positive words and seeing your face on here, while a third said: "Rest in peace, Carl. This world will be a little less bright without you around."
And another distraught TikTok user wrote: "Carl! I just found out and my heart is absolutely shattered! You were more than a tiktoker to me! You were my friend!"
