TikTok star and Grammy nominee to play first festival headline set near Bristol

A Grammy award nominee and TikTok star has been confirmed to headline a festival near Bristol this summer. Lizzy McAlpine, a singer-songwriter from the US, will be heading to Over Farm in Gloucester for Barn on the Farm 2023.

The 23-year-old folk-pop artist has songs including 'doomsday', 'hate to be lame' and 'ceilings', the latter of which has more than 300 million streams online. A sped-up version of this song has recently gone viral on TikTok, making it the most streamed song of her second studio album Five Seconds Flat, and has been used in hundreds of thousands of videos on the app.

Lizzy McAlpine - who earned a joint Grammy nomination for her work with Jacob Collier - has been confirmed as the festival's third headliner and will play to just 3,000 people, which will make it her first-ever headline slot at any festival. After sell out headline tours around North America and Europe, she'll be joining Holly Humberstone and Bleachers at Over Farm on June 29 - July 2.
