Personality quizzes, star signs and 'what character are you' filters are incredibly popular online with people trying to decide if they're compatible with their friends and romantic partners.
From Leo energy to Myers-Briggs four letter categories, your personality can be packaged into neat little boxes . The latest trend comes in the form of 'lalala' or 'okokok' people - apparently you will be one or the other.
From the song See You Again by Tyler, The Creator, which recently went viral on TikTok, these new personality categories have been born. On the track, Tyler sings "okokok" while featured artist Kali Uchis sings "lalala", during the hook.

The types began simply as which line do you gravitate towards; Tyler's rhythmic "okokok" or Kali's light and airy "lalala". This has steadily grown into an entire personality type theory.
Generally speaking the two can be whittled down to tradition categories of introverts or extroverts or the Type A or B theory.
Extroverts would be 'lalala' and introverts are grouped as 'okokok' but TikTok has expanded this way beyond base level personalities.
One video with almost four million views defines 'okokok' as smart, an overthinker, someone who agrees with everything and follows the rules. Notably this person sees the personality type not as an introvert but as an ambivert - someone who is both introverted and extroverted, depending on the situation.
By comparison the 'lalala' personality is someone who is carefree, childish, always talking, and often breaks rules.
Fashion sense also comes into play with these personalities, which as the 'okokok' people like to wear darker clothes with baggier fits, a more grunge-y styling.
In contrast, the 'lalala's of the world love a flowy flowery fit with bright colours and bold patterns - often defined as "fairy" types by personality type TikTok.
On one video, many said it wasn't so much about the outfits, one commented: "Actually it's not about the looks, it's about the personality, I look like okokok but my personality is lalala."
Other fan edits place popular characters into the two categories with Rapunzel from Tangled, and Jesper from Netflix's Shadow and Bone series commonly classed as 'lalala' people.
'Okokok' characters on the other hand are Katniss from The Hunger Games, Spiderman's MJ and even Mario from Nintendo's SuperMario Bros.
A large amount of comments across the videos are people saying they are a mix between the two, often called 'lalaokok'.
