Tik Tok star Taylor Rousseau Grigg's cause of death revealed

Taylor Rousseau Grigg died this month

Taylor Rousseau Grigg died from complications related to asthma and Addison's disease.

The 25-year-old influencer's husband Cameron Grigg revealed earlier this month that the TikTok star had died on 4 October, and now representatives for her family have revealed to Today.com the cause of her passing.

And a source told People magazine that Taylor had suffered a severe asthma attack and resulting complications that led to her death.

Addison’s disease, also called adrenal insufficiency, is a chronic condition that occurs when the body doesn’t produce enough of certain hormones.

The blonde beauty had explained in August she had been suffering with undisclosed health issues, reflecting on how she was once "very athletic" but was now "not healthy and in good shape” and hadn’t been “in a long time.”

Taylor told her 1.4 million followers she had "got sick" after she and her husband married in August 2023.

And a few months before, she revealed she had been given a “forever diagnosis.”

She said: “You’re seeing me be sick for the whole time that we’re married and not finding out what was wrong until this year … I barely found out what was wrong with me. I was struggling that whole time feeling like I was going to die.

“It just sucks because I’m 24 years old, I should be in my prime, I should be able to carry my suitcase up the stairs, I should be able to walk to the mailbox, or run, and those are just things that I can’t really do right now."

Cameron announced his wife's "sudden and unexpected" death the day after her passing.

He shared photos of himself and his wife and wrote: “No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age.

"This past year Taylor has dealt with more pain and suffering than most people do in a lifetime. And in spite of that, she still has been such a light and always brought joy to everyone around her.

"She is the most brave and strong woman I know, and her confidence in the Lord outweighed every other circumstance she’s faced, even in her darkest hours. I know she’s saved my life and so many others out there."
