Tigers' Blore suffers suspected ACL tear

Shawn Blore has suffered what could be a season-ending ACL injury at Wests Tigers training. (AAP)

Rising Wests Tigers star Shawn Blore's NRL season is in tatters after he suffered a suspected ACL injury.

Blore went down at Tigers training on Friday morning, just five weeks out from their March 12 season-opener against Melbourne.

The second-rower was taken for scans, with the Tigers waiting on the outcome.

Blore has already had an injury-ravaged start to his career, with an ACL tear in his other knee in 2019 ruining any chance of a debut for Penrith that year.

The 21-year-old then debuted for the Tigers in 2020, before playing 13 games off the bench last year.

It was expected he would start in the back row for the Tigers this season before his latest injury setback.
