Tiffany Van Soest and Sarah Moussaddak will run things back in September.
Reigning women’s super bantamweight champion van Soest rematches Moussaddak on Sept. 9 at Glory 88 at the Dome de Paris in France, promotion officials informed MMA Junkie on Tuesday. The event is headlined by a heavyweight bout between Badr Hari and James McSweeney.
Former Invicta FC fighter van Soest notched her third title defense when she defeated Moussaddak by unanimous decision in the Glory Collision 4 co-main event last October.
The challenger got off to a good start, with four of the five judges awarding her Round 1. Round 2 was awarded to the champion before Moussaddak took the third. The championship rounds were given to van Soest, who won the fight by a closely contested unanimous decision.
Since then, 23-year-old Moussaddak rebounded with a decision win over Giuliana Cosnard at Glory 86 in May.
