Tiffany Haddish, Billy Gardell, Nikki Glaser, and Andy Kindler are scheduled to perform at the third annual Friendly House Comedy Fundraiser, an event that aims to support women in substance abuse recovery. The fundraiser will take place on April 7 at The Bourbon Room on Hollywood Boulevard, with Tammy Jo Dearen of Comedy Central hosting the event.
Friendly House, an organization with a 73-year history, is dedicated to saving women's lives through a 12-step program designed to help women regain their dignity and acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, support, and resources for a purposeful and productive life. The organization focuses on empowering and supporting women from diverse backgrounds, including historically excluded communities, by providing culturally responsive and evidence-based treatment.
All proceeds from the comedy fundraiser will benefit Friendly House Los Angeles. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for a meet and greet with Tiffany Haddish, as well as participate in a raffle with prizes, including an exclusive three-hour game night hosted by Haddish at the Friendly House Sober Living.
The fundraiser is being produced by Tammy Jo Dearen and TJD Presents. Tickets for the event can be purchased online. In addition to her philanthropic endeavors, Haddish is set to appear in the upcoming film 'Bad Boys: Ride or Die,' the fourth installment of the popular buddy cop franchise starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, scheduled for release on June 7.
