Larne may have opened up a six-point gap at the top of the league but Tiernan Lynch insists their only focus is Saturday afternoon's trip to Carrick Rangers.
The Invermen gave themselves some breathing space at the summit following their 3-0 win over Ballymena United in midweek but Lynch is adamant nobody will be getting carried away.
"I'm not going to get dragged into it, our only thought now is Carrick on Saturday," he said.

"It's going to be a difficult game. They have been really tough opponents any time we've played them this season.
"On Boxing Day they came and sat in, making it really difficult for us.
"Personally I don't think they will do that on Saturday as they will want to push for that seventh place to stay in and around with Ballymena and Glenavon.
"We just have to go and do our best and see where it takes us.
"Nobody knows at this stage what is going to happen in the league or cup.
"No matter what happens this is a very special group of players, the best I have ever worked with.
"They are so professional and hard working in everything they do and they are very humble as well.
"Right now we are in a good place, but there's a lot of football still to be played."
