Tiernan Lynch reiterated Larne's desire for success ahead of this afternoon's Irish Cup clash with Linfield.
Since Kenny Bruce's takeover of the club the Invermen have made no secret of their aspiration to win major silverware.
Lynch says Larne will not apologise for their desire "to be successful and sit at that top table".

"At Larne we don't make any apologies or shy away from the fact that we want to win trophies," he said.
"We want to be successful and sit at that top table.
"In order to do that you have to come into these games and come out the other end of them."
Games between Larne and Linfield have been evenly balanced so far this season with both sides winning one apiece in the league and the Invermen coming out on top in the co Antrim Shield final on penalties.
Lynch is expecting another tight affair in the Irish Cup today.
"I think Saturday will be more of the same," he said.
"It's two teams who want to play and both want to be in the next round of the Irish Cup.
"There will be plenty of commitment and blood and thunder no doubt."
Linfield haven't always had the best of it at Inver Park, but Blues assistant boss Ross Oliver is hoping for things to change this afternoon.
"Our record down there hasn't been great over the last few years," he said.
"That's something we have to fix. Our preparation leading into the game will be key."
