Hundreds of tickets still available for Blackpool show featuring convicted stalker Alex Belfield and Katie Hopkins

Tickets can still be purchased for a show featuring convicted stalker and ex-BBC radio presenter Alex Belfield. The 42-year-old of Shaldon Close in Mapperley will be joined by Katie Hopkins in a Blackpool show titled 'Two Gobsh***s Live'.

Belfield had been convicted of stalking four victims including BBC broadcaster Jeremy Vine and Northampton BBC Radio's Bernie Keith. Mr Vine had described Belfield in court as "the Jimmy Savile of trolling".

Prosecutors told Nottingham Crown Court earlier this year that Belfield had used social media messages, videos and emails to cause serious alarm or distress to his victims after his contract with BBC Radio Leeds ended. He was granted bail and will be sentenced in September.

Two of his Eastbourne shows, titled 'The Voice of Reason', were supposed to have taken place on Sunday, August 28, but were cancelled.

However his show with Katie Hopkins, set to take place at the Joe Longthorne Theatre, Blackpool on September 10, is still being advertised. Tickets cost £25 plus a booking fee and can still be purchased.

Just under 500 tickets remain. The venue has a capacity of around 1,400.

The show's description reads: "They’re not PC but totally LOL. Watch them mercilessly ridicule everyone from politicians to celebrities in this EXCLUSIVE 2-hour seaside special."

YouTube recently said Belfield's channel, the Voice of Reason, was demonetised in February for violating the harassment policy. However he has not been banned and his videos still appear.

Judge Mr Justice Saini said of Belfield a custodial sentence is likely. He was urged to be "extra careful" with his online communications.
