Adele fans need to be Rolling in the Dough to see her in Las Vegas – because top tickets on resale sites cost nearly £40,000 each.
Front row seats for the opening night of the Hello singer’s 32-date US gig run are going for £38,716.
Even the cheapest tickets on the back row of the 4,100-seat Colosseum at Caesars Palace are a whopping £579 for a 100-minute set.
Ticket re-sale site Stub Hub is chasing eye-watering payments from fans for the Weekend With Adele opener on November 18.
The Grammy winner rescheduled the shows after pulling out with 24 hours’ notice earlier this year.
Devotees hoping to see the mum-of-one perform have to buy through resale sites after all tickets were snapped up within minutes. When first on sale, they cost £73 to £590.
The top ticket price eclipses those of former headliners Celine Dion, Sir Elton John, Sir Rod Stewart and J-Lo. Brodie Cooper of US marketing firm PRrppd said they were “by far the highest in the history of the Las Vegas strip”.
He added: “Sales websites would not charge those types of fees if people were not willing to pay.”
Speaking about cancelling, Adele told BBC ’s Desert Island Discs in January: “I definitely felt everyone’s disappointment.”
