Fans were left furious this morning as long queues saw fans struggling to secure tickets to the Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte fight at Wembley. The queue grew as large as 144,000 at one point, leaving many fans inevitably disappointed with Wembley's capacity being only 90,000.
Ticketmaster issued a brief statement on social media explaining why a queue system was put into place. They tweeted: "As expected, Tyson Fury v Dillian Whyte is super popular this morning. To make it as fair as possible, we have put everyone in a queue. Be patient and don’t refresh or you’ll lose your place."
Prices for the fight are between £61.88- £2,250 (including fees) depending on what ticket type and where in the venue you're looking to book for (via Ticketmaster). Due to the intense clamour for tickets, resale platforms were already advertising tickets, as early as 20 minutes after they went on general sale
