Disabled Scot fighting for missing medical records finds docs for unknown child in his file
A disabled Scot fighting to obtain his neonatal medical records was horrified to discover personal information about an unrelated child in his file.
Christopher Walker, from Ayrshire, made a Subject Access Request via NHS Ayrshire and Arran last summer after being struck down by ill health.
The 37-year-old, who suffers from osteoarthritis, believes his medical records could help him obtain a formal diagnosis for Ehlers-Danlos syndrome - a chronic connective tissue disorder that affects his entire body.
Tourist captures 'Loch Ness Monster' on sonar 400ft below surface
The second official Nessie sighting of the year has been made after a tourist claimed to have captured what he believes is the Loch Ness Monster on sonar - lurking more than 400 feet below the surface.
Tom Ingram couldn't believe his eyes when he spotted something "big" appearing on the boat's sonar.
Part of the tour, passengers are allowed to watch the screens but 36-year-old IT Infrastructure Engineer for South Western Railway assumed at first it was simply the crew having a bit of fun with the group until he realised it was indeed real.

A Rangers fan who allegedly slashed his Celtic -supporting stepsister after an Old Firm game walked free when she said she was so drunk she couldn't remember the incident.
Darren Holland, 24, was said to have become 'mouthy' to Sarah Kane, 20, over Rangers beating their arch-rivals at Celtic Park .
Kane ended up in hospital suffering a 15cm wound to her back and later gave police a statement about the incident in the early hours of New Year's Day 2020.
Dog owners urged to stop pets from licking faces due to superbug resistant to drugs
Letting your dog lick your face could spread superbugs which are resistant to antibiotics, according to a new study.
Experts have also warned pet owners to wash their hands after stroking their dog or picking up their waste - and not to let them eat off their plate.
Antibiotic-resistant bacteria killed one million people in 2019, and there is growing concern that cats and dogs may be helping spread the bugs.
