Celtic fans yell at cops while 'being crushed' after streets closed ahead of Dundee United clash
Video has emerged of Celtic fans yelling with cops amid claims they were being 'crushed' before last night's title winning match in Dundee.
The video shows hoops fans descending on Tannadice ahead of the Hoops' clash with Dundee United just before the 7.30pm kick off last night.
Police had earlier tweeted explaining restricted street access surrounding the stadium.
A large group can be seen huddled together in front of a number of police units, including mounted officers, in place to manage the crowd.
The supporters can be heard yelling at at officers to "move the horses" and claimed that the cops "were causing the crush."
Falkirk chip shop boss to stand trial accused of sexually assaulting teenage girls
A chip shop boss is to face trial accused of touching teenage girls in his fish bar.
Francesco Falcone, 46, is said to have sexually assaulted three 15-year-old girls by touching them on the hips and waist, slapped two of them on the buttocks, and asked them questions of a sexual nature.
To one of them, he is said to have made remarks about her appearance.
Baby faced Scots killer's chilling Snapchat goading neighbour moments before stabbing
The chilling Snapchat selfie killer Jack McBride posted a video seconds before stabbing a neighbour through the heart – bragging that it was “game time”.
McBride, who was 17 at the time, filmed himself challenging Johnny Winters, 26, to what proved to be a fatal fight.
The thug streamed the build-up to the killing live for his followers.
McBride started the social media blitz with a screenshot of a message he’d sent Winters, confronting him over their feud.
He then went to Winters’ home in Johnstone, Renfrewshire, and filmed himself goading him to come out of his flat in the High Street.
McBride signed off the broadcast with the “game time” selfie, boasting he was about to have a brutal street brawl.
Scots church charity worker sacked after telling pal about priest's affair wins £8K compensation
A church charity worker who claimed she was sacked for whistleblowing about a married priest having a relationship with a “vulnerable” member of his congregation has won £8000 in compensation.
Caroline Marsland was unhappy that the clergyman was allowed to return to work after it was alleged he had a relationship with the woman, an employment tribunal heard.
The alleged behaviour of the priest – identified in tribunal documents only as DE – emerged after the unnamed woman’s partner complained to the Diocese of Glasgow and Galloway, a hearing was told.
Caroline, the project co-ordinator for a food bank run by the church in Dumbarton, was left “angry, upset and disgusted” by the revelations because she considered the woman to be a “vulnerable adult”.
Fuming pensioner who fired air rifle at squirrel dodges jail
A lollipop man who took aim with an unlicensed air rifle at a grey squirrel after catching the rodent gnawing the wiring in his loft has been spared jail.
Pensioner Wilson Barrett, 72, a former mechanic, grabbed the gun, which had been gathering dust in a corner of his workshop, after finding that grey squirrels had invaded the roof space of his house and caused "considerable damage", Falkirk Sheriff Court was told.
His pot shots were heard by a neighbour - who raised the alarm.
