A blistering century by Perth Scorchers captain Sophie Devine has set up a 39-run win over Brisbane Heat in the WBBL.
The Sydney Thunder's match against the Hobart Hurricanes was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to wet weather.
Devine's 106 from just 62 deliveries was her fourth in the WBBL and included four towering sixes to go with 14 boundaries at Allan Border Field.
Devine and fellow opener Beth Mooney (50 off 42) combined for a 131-run opening stand as Perth reached 3-192.
The Scorchers skipper also claimed 2-33 with the ball as the Heat were bowled out for 153 in the 18th over.
Heat opener Georgia Redmayne (53 off 44) did her best to anchor the run chase but kept losing partners.
Devine bludgeoned the bowling with power and precision.
Her brute strength and keen eye combined to dispatch good deliveries and bad as the 34-year-old New Zealand international moved top of this season's WBBL run-scoring chart with 345.
Mooney was not at her free-flowing best, but such is her class the left-hander was able to keep the scoreboard ticking over while working to provide Devine with the strike.
The skipper's century duly arrived when Devine clubbed Jess Jonassen over long on for six in the final over of the Scorchers' innings.
The Heat bumbled and fumbled in the field, with a selection of dropped catches, missed stumpings and run-out chances adding to their woes.
Redmayne led the hosts' run chase, but cameos from Mignon du Preez (22), Charli Knott (18) and Georgia Voll (27) weren't enough to overhaul a tough target.
Scorchers seamer Piepa Cleary (3-27) was the pick of the bowlers.
The win put the Scorchers level with the Heat on 10 points but ahead on net run rate as they moved to third on the ladder.
In Sydney, rain fell on Cricket Central in Silverwater from just before play was due to begin on Thursday afternoon. Low light and lightning followed, forcing the cancellation of the contest after a 90-minute wait.
The Thunder missed out on the opportunity to avenge their loss to the Hurricanes last month, which remains their sole defeat from six games so far this season.
Hobart weren't able to improve to a winning record, having won three from six games so far this campaign.
The sides each receive one competition point.
"It's another point in the bag, so we see the positives," Thunder captain Heather Knight said.
"We would've had three games in four days so an extra day of rest actually might not be the worst thing."
