Thunder bowl in crucial Renegades clash

Sydney Thunder will bowl first as they search for a crucial win against the Melbourne Renegades in their BBL finals chase.

The Thunder enter the contest sitting outside the top five but would break in with victory at Manuka Oval on Thursday night.

The Renegades will lock in finals with a victory as the regular season heads into its final week.

Sydney's Blake Nikitaras will mark his debut batting at No.3, the 22-year-old replacing Sam Whiteman.

The Renegades will also blood a new talent with spinner Corey Rocchiccioli replacing Ruwantha Kellapotha.

They'll be looking to carry momentum from their thrilling comeback win against cross-town rivals Melbourne Stars on Saturday night
