A 92-year-old was knocked to the ground by a thug on a bike who stole their purse.
The elderly victim was targeted by the robber as they walked through Atherton town centre on September 1 at around 9.30am, police said. They were near Bullough Street when the suspect pushed them to the ground and stole their purse.
The suspect then fled the scene on a push bike. The victim spent 30 minutes struggling to get back on their feet, officers added.

Police have not confirmed whether the victim was a man or a woman. Officers are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Similar incidents happened in the same area over the past four months, officers said. A post on the GMP Leigh, Atherton and Hindley Facebook page said: "Police are appealing for information following a robbery where a 92-year-old victim was targeted.
"The victim has been making their way through Atherton Town centre near the junction with Bullough Street on Thursday the 1st of September 2022 at approximately 09:30 am when the suspect, who was on a pedal bike, has pushed the victim to the floor and stolen the victim’s purse. The victim has then spent the next half an hour struggling to get back to their feet after the suspect has fled the area on a pedal bike.
"Police are appealing for any information relating to the above incident or similar incidents in the area in the last 4 months. If you have any information that would assist, please call 101, use the GMP online reporting or if you wish to remain anonymous, you can provide information via Crimestoppers.
"Please quote crime reference number CRI/06LL/0032470/22. The officer in the case is PC 17560 McKeown."
