A savvy Farmfoods shopper was thrilled when they came across massively discounted tubs of Carte D'or ice-cream in their local store and has urged others to take advantage of the bargain offering.
Sharing an image of five huge 500ml tubs of Carte D'or ice-cream - all with different flavours - on popular shopping Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, the Farmfoods fan wrote: "All 99p each - yes they are all big 500ml tubs, my 4.95 bargain."
The flavours purchased included Salted Caramel, Rum and Raisin, Strawberry, Indulgent Chocolate and Mint Chocolate.

In a follow up comment, the size of the tubs of Carte D'or were revealed as a litre instead of 500ml and shoppers have been racing to share their own frozen finds.
The post has raked up over 1000 comments from other ice-cream lovers, with one writing: "Got three of these already such a bargain and quality is amazing taste so good."
"I stocked up with some last week as most places sell them for £2.50 each!" added another.
One parent praised the deal, commenting: "Been getting these for the past few weeks at this price, absolutely brilliant isn't it, my kids love them."
