Rangers are gearing up to continue their defence of the Scottish Cup with a Glasgow derby on the cards.
It will be Scottish Championship side Partick Thistle in town on Sunday as the Jags look to create a huge upset against the competition's current holders. It was one trophy for Rangers last season after downing Hearts and Michael Beale is eyeing silverware to top off his so-far unbeaten run as manager in Glasgow.
The Englishman has some injury issues to contend with ahead of facing Ian McCall's side but with the likes of new signings Nicolas Raskin and Todd Cantwell vying for another start in the cup. Glasgow Live Sport took a look at the Light Blues' preparation for the game.
Raskin raring to go
Rangers fans have already had a glimpse of new boy Nicolas Raskin after he took his Ibrox bow last weekend.
The 21-year-old's signing was - as Beale claimed - to have an instant impact and the Scottish Cup could present a golden opportunity for the Belgian to star. Especially with the news that key midfielder John Lundstram won't make the game due to injury, with Ryan Jack expected to anchor the engine room.
But Raskin could then be handed the chance to show attacking intent from the off at the weekend.
Goalkeeper revolving door
Rangers have rotated goalkeepers this season as Beale strongly claimed Allan McGregor to be the number one choice.
That wasn't always the choice, however, under previous boss Gio Van Bronckhorst who made a case for Jon McLaughlin in the first half of the season before dropping the shot stopper after losing 4-0 to Celtic.
And while McLaughlin has also seen game time under Beale, there have been criticisms in some quarters over the 35-year-old. It remains to be seen whether the cup will offer the chance for rotation once again.
Morelos and Tavernier lock playful horns
James Tavernier and Alfredo Morelos are two of the longest-serving players in the Rangers starting eleven at this point.
Both the captain and the forward have outlasted multiple different managers in Glasgow but seem to be on form under Beale. For the Colombian the imminent return of Antonio Colak could spell more competition.
Morelos has been on target four times in league action and will be hoping a start in the cup provides the chance for more goals.
