Three things we learned from PSV vs Rangers as Colak clinches cash jackpot in epic Eindhoven win

Antonio Colak was the Rangers goal hero as Giovanni van Bronckhorst's put in another famous European performance.

It was a Dutch of class from his Light Blues as they ran out 1-0 winners on the night in PSV's own back yard to take the tie 3-2 on aggregate and with that secure a spot in the Champions League group stage. Reaching this stage of the competition comes with a huge financial windfall for the club as the Ibrox men get set to mix it with Europe's elite once again.

The players, fans and management can now start dreaming of facing the likes of Real Madrid, PSG, Liverpool and the big names in club football as the famous Champions League anthem and big nights under the lights get ready to return to Ibrox. Rangers had their distractions in the build-up with the Alfredo Morelos situation and the delays with their team bus reaching the Philips Stadion but they put that all to one side for a night to remember in Eindhoven.

Here are three things we learned as Rangers join Celtic at the top table of club competition.

Change of role?

James Sands showed he has real potential to play as Connor Goldson's regular centre-back partner.

The 21-year-old reads to game very well and often wins his duels.

Some key tackles throughout the tie against PSV and has the speed to cover the ground when required.

Has his moments with loose passes out from the back in dangerous positions. An area that can be improved but certainly has huge potential.

Col on me

Antonio Colak once again proved his worth in the early part of his Rangers career with another battling display up top and the goal that will net his new club upwards of £30million.

The summer signing showed his work rate and desire throughout as he continues to impress in a Light Blues jersey.

Always an option going forward. Holds ball well and keeps play moving.

Took his goal tally to five in six games and is quickly establishing himself as a key man and fans' favourite.

Dutch courage

Rangers once again carried the spirit and determination that took them all the way to the Europa League Final last season.

Van Bronckhorst's troops have picked up some big results on the road in Europe in recent times and they pulled it out of the bag once again.

A huge prize awaits with Champions League football and the big financial windfall that goes with it.

A Dutch of class in the Netherlands to dispose of PSV.
