The three teenagers tragically killed in a horror road crash have been pictured for the first time as heartbroken friends vow to raise money in their honour.
Harry Purcell, 17, and 16-year-olds Matilda Seccombe and Frank Wormald died after the Ford Fiesta they were travelling in collided with another car on a rural road in Warwickshire last Friday.
A fourth teenager, named locally as 17-year-old Edward Spencer, was also in the car at the time and remains in hospital in a stable condition following surgery.
Both Harry and Matilda died in hospital on Friday after the crash near Shipston-on-Stour, Chipping Campden School said.
Frank was also taken to hospital but died on Sunday, their school said.
The teen's devastated friends Alex Adams and Gracie Edmunds have set up a fundraising page in their name, with £40,000 already pledged.
Writing on the page, Alex, 17, said: "My name is Alex, a 17 year old ex-student at Chipping Campden school. On the 21st April, 3 close friends and school mates sadly passed away and another critically injured after a devastating car crash on their way back from school.
"A total of four air ambulances attended the scene, two of which from the Midland Air Ambulance service.
"In aid of this, fellow close friends and school mates, Gracie, Taylor and myself are running the Oxford Half Marathon on the 15th October to raise money for this amazing service, and help them in saving lives in and around our community in the future.
"Us three teenagers will do everything we can to help this service save as many lives as possible so close communities like ours don’t have to suffer with loss. We hope you can join us in helping out this amazing service."
Head teacher John Sanderson paid tribute to the students.
"There are no words that I can find to express the sense of loss that we feel," Mr Sanderson wrote in a letter to parents, as he expressed sympathy for the teenager's families.
"Each one of these young people has been part of our extended school family and each loss is felt profoundly.
"In time, I would like to try and find the words to pay tribute to each of the young people we have lost, as each was remarkable and unique, having touched the lives of so many in such profound ways."
Inspector Michael Huntley from Warwickshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: "This is a tragic incident involving several young people.
'Our thoughts go out to the families and friends of those who have lost their lives, to those who have been injured, and to the local community who may have been affected by this incident.
"Specially-trained family liaison officers are currently supporting the families involved, and we would ask that the privacy of those involved is respected at this difficult time.
"Specialist officers are carrying out a detailed investigation to piece together the circumstances of the collision, and we are working with our partner agencies and the local authority.
"We would ask anyone who has not yet spoken to us to please get in touch, especially if you were travelling in the area and may have any information or dashcam footage."
