Manchester City have the chance to move to the top of the Premier League table when they face off against Brentford at the Etihad on Saturday afternoon.
Pep Guardiola's side secured a 2-0 victory over Chelsea in the EFL Cup in midweek, and defeated Fulham in the league last weekend to keep the pressure on current league leaders Arsenal.
The Blues find themselves two points behind the Gunners, but with the London club not in action until Saturday evening, City can move to the top of the league table - at least for a few hours.

Brentford have made a decent start to their domestic campaign, losing just four of their opening 14 Premier League matches. Despite this, several pundits are still backing City to come out on top when the two sides meet on Saturday.
Chris Sutton (BBC)
"Tottenham boss Antonio Conte talked about how tired England striker Harry Kane was in midweek and there are some difficult decisions for managers to make about resting some players before the World Cup depending on their fitness.
"You have to remember though that there are points at stake here and people are under pressure. So, Pep Guardiola won't be doing anyone else any favours - his priority is getting the win for Manchester City. City beat Fulham the hard way last week with 10 men and through a last-minute penalty, but I think things will be a lot more straightforward for them this time.
"Brentford don't seem to be the same side when they are away from home - they still haven't beaten anyone on the road this season, and that is not going to change here."
Sutton's prediction: City 4-0 Brentford
Paul Merson (Sportskeeda)
"Brentford need to be careful, or they may well get dragged into the relegation zone. They're playing well but they don't seem to be winning Premier League matches. Manchester City do make mistakes, and you have to take advantage when they do.
"With Manchester City, it's just a matter of how many goals they score. You could argue that you never know with these matches, but a good Fulham team still lost to a ten-man City side. Manchester City are definitely winning this and putting pressure on Arsenal."
Merson's prediction: City 3-0 Brentford
Mark Lawrenson (Paddy Power)
"The way Manchester City are at the moment they’re just dispatching teams. On a bad day they might only win 1-0 or 2-0, on a good day it’s 4-0 or 5-0. It’s a free hit for Brentford but you can’t see them getting anything."
Lawrenson's prediction: City 4-0 Brentford
