The buzz around the golf scene is at an all-time high with the U.S. Open, the third major on the calendar, coming just a week after the stunning PGA Tour and Saudi PIF deal was announced.
Many of the PGA Tour golfers may have missed out on a huge payday by going to LIV, but a trio of stars are still looking at making a major investment in another sport.
Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, and Rickie Fowler are looking at becoming part owners of the Leeds United FC, Fowler said in an interview with Sky Sports. The club had just been relegated to the Champions League after three seasons in the English Premier League.

"There is the group that's moving forward with being involved with Leeds. Myself, JT (Justin Thomas) and Jordan (Spieth) potentially will be a part of it,” Fowler told Sky Sports. "It's cool to have those opportunities. I know we are looking into it. It will be fun if we get to be a part of it."
The three golfers are known to be close friends, and are some of the most successful over the last decade with five major wins between Spieth and Thomas and three major runner-up finishes for Fowler.
Thomas has an estimated $80.6 million in career earnings with Spieth following closely behind at $76.4 million. Fowler's estimated earnings are at $52.5 million.

The club missed on a chance to stay in the Premier League on the final day of the season, but it could have been valued at close to $630 million had it managed to stay in UK’s top soccer league.
