Peter Kay was forced to stop his show in Newcastle on Thursday night after an audience member fell ill.
The funny man is currently touring with his sold-out comeback show and is taking to the stage in some of the biggest arenas up and down the country.
But while he was on stage at the Newcastle Utilita Arena, the show had to be stopped after one fan in the front row became unwell and needed urgent medical attention, writes The Mirror.
The 49-year-old comic is said to have left the stage almost immediately in order to try and help the audience member before a wheelchair was later brought out.
An audience member told The Sun: "Peter asked if they were being serious, then he asked for the big lights to go on and stewards ran over to see what was going on.
"He then went off stage for around 10/15 mins and one person was seen getting wheelchaired out."
Peter is said to have returned to the stage after two more members of the audience took ill before saying "three went down then," and adding he "hoped they were ok."
Peter's tour sold out in minutes after the tickets went on sale, and sees him return to stage for the first time in 12 years and it will continue right through to August 2023.
The 49-year-old broke down on stage as he received a standing ovation at Manchester's AO arena, at the start of what was his first live stand-up performance after a break.
