Three people have been taken to hospital following a collision.
A tractor and a car are understood to have collided on Stannerford Road in Crawcrook, Gateshead, on Saturday afternoon.
Police, paramedics and firefighters rushed to the scene of the crash just before 2pm and the road was taped off by officers.

Up to 10 police vehicles, three ambulances and a fire engine were reported to have attended the scene.
Three people were taken to hospital following to crash. Two of them were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead.
The other patient was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) in Newcastle.
TheNorth East Ambulance Service said they were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Stannerford Road at 1.49pm.
A spokesperson said: "We dispatched two ambulance crews, a clinical team leader and a specialist paramedic, and transported two patients to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and one patient to the Royal Victoria Infirmary."
Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that they sent one fire engine to the scene after being contacted at 1.56pm.
The road remained closed to motorists at 6.15pm.
