Three people were taken to hospital following a collision involving a car and a bus near Aberystwyth on Saturday afternoon, emergency services have confirmed. The ambulance service was called to reports of a road traffic collision on the A847 between Aberystwyth and Talybont at around 3.45pm.
Dyfed Powys Police closed the road and urged drivers to avoid the area. The road has since re-opened after it was closed for several hours. Three patients were taken to hospital following the incident for further treatment.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called yesterday, Saturday 12 November, at approximately 3.45pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a bus on the A487. We sent one rapid response vehicle and three emergency ambulances to the scene. Three patients were transferred to Bronglais General Hospital for further treatment.”
