Three people have been taken to hospital following a crash on the A193 Links Road in Blyth.
Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle collision at around 12.30pm on Bank Holiday Monday, May 2. The North East Ambulance Service confirmed that three people were taken to the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital in Cramlington for treatment.
An ambulance service spokeswoman said: "We received a call at 12:29 today to a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Links Road in Blyth. We sent three emergency ambulance crews and a rapid response paramedic and took three patients for further treatment to Cramlington hospital."

The Links Road was closed in both directions for a short time while Northumbria Police, Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service and ambulance crews dealt with the incident.
A spokeswoman from Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were in attendance at the scene of a road traffic collision on the A193 Links Road from around 12.30pm. Three pumps were in attendance.
"The crews were there to make the vehicle safe. We left at 1.41pm.”
Northumbria Police also confirmed they attended the incident. A force spokesman said: “We had reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles and attended at around 12.30pm. The fire and rescue service and ambulance service were [also] in attendance. "
