Three people in hospital after peak hour-crashes in Garran, Holder

Three people were taken to hospital and vehicles were delayed along main roads on Canberra's southside after two crashes in rush-hour traffic this evening.

ACT Policing said one person was taken to hospital after two vehicles crashed at the intersection of Streeton Drive and Mulley Street in Holder about 6pm.

An ACT Emergency Services Agency spokesperson said two people were taken to hospital in a stable condition after a motorbike and a car crashed on Yamba Drive near the intersection with Kitchener Street.

Both incidents led to slow-moving traffic which lasted almost an hour due to debris and certain vehicles blocking lanes.

ACT Fire and Rescue and ACT Ambulance were also on scene to assist.
