THREE people were admitted to hospital following an incident outside of Glasgow in the early morning of January 1, 2025.
Two men and a woman have been taken to hospital and two other people were hurt after a disturbance in Rutherglen.
Around 4.40 am on Wednesday, January 1, the emergency services were called on Pinkerton Avenue.
Among the five injured, a 34-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man were transported to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment, while a 40-year-old man was taken to Hairmyres Hospital. The other two individuals, both aged 38, were treated at the scene.
Detective Constable Graeme Easton said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and a police presence remains in the area.
“I am appealing for anyone who has any information which could assist us to get in touch.
“I would also appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident, who was in the area and may have dash-cam footage or who may have private CCTV which could help to contact us.”
