Three men have been charged after chaos broke out at Tesco during the Black Friday sales.
Police were called to eight supermarkets across Greater Manchester after desperate shoppers began fighting over bargains in the early hours of November 28.
The disorder was widely condemned by senior GMP officers, including chief constable Sir Peter Fahy.
Two men have now been charged with assault and a third with a public order offence after incidents at Tescos in south Manchester, Salford and Tameside.
Andrew Dean Anderson, 42, of Bainbridge Close, Ardwick, Manchester, has been charged with assault by beating.
The charge relates to an incident at Burnage Tesco, when a woman suffered minor injuries after a struggle with a man over a television.
John Anthony Ankers, 45, of Fields Farm Road, Hyde, has been charged with public order offence - using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence. The charge relates to an incident at Tesco on Stockport Road, Hattersley, when a man was abusive and attempted to punch a police officer.
Michael Anthony Dowd, 28, of Mulberry Road, Pendleton, has been charged with assault by beating. The charge relates to an incident at Tesco in Irlam, Salford, when staff were threatened and someone was bitten on the arm.
All three will appear before magistrates later this month.
