
THREE people have been arrested and charged following an alleged hate crime and assault at student accommodation in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to reports of an incident in the early hours of Monday morning.
It occurred at Dunaskin Mill - a student accommodation complex in the city’s west end.
A 23-year-old man was rushed to hospital following the incident as a precaution, according to police.
Two 22-year-old men and an 18-year-old woman were both arrested and charged after the incident.
They are all set to appear in court on Tuesday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.40am on Monday September 19, officers received reports of hate crime and assault on Dunaskin Mill, Glasgow.
“A 23-year-old man attended hospital as a precaution.
“Two 22-year-old men and an 18-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection and are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday September 20 2022.”
