Three Palisades Schools Damaged In Wildfire, Mental Health Resources Available

Three schools in Palisades have suffered significant damage due to the ongoing wildfire in the area, as reported by the district. The Palisades Fire has already scorched nearly 16,000 acres, according to California Fire officials.

The Los Angeles Unified School District spokesperson confirmed that the following schools have been affected: Palisades Charter High School, Palisades Charter Elementary School, and Marquez Charter Elementary School.

Impacted schools include Palisades Charter High, Palisades Charter Elementary, and Marquez Charter Elementary.
Palisades Fire has burned 16,000 acres in California.
LAUSD collaborating with authorities to assess damage and plan repairs.

The district is currently collaborating with local authorities to evaluate the extent of the damage and plan the necessary steps to repair the impacted buildings. They are also working on securing funding for the restoration process.

In response to the situation, LAUSD has assured that mental health resources will be made available for students and their families. This support system aims to assist those affected by the traumatic events caused by the wildfire.
