Three of Liverpool's biggest Premier League rivals 'considering' Naby Keita free transfer

Liverpool star Naby Keita is reportedly attracting interest from within the Premier League.

The Reds midfielder remains out of contract at the end of the season, as things stand, as there are no signs as of yet of an extension. Keita has been at Anfield since moving from RB Leipzig for £52.75million in the summer of 2018.

Keita has spent nearly the entirety of this season on the sidelines with an injury, and is yet to feature in the Premier League. The 27-year-old was also left out of Liverpool’s Champions League squad at the start of September, due to the severity of his injury.

A fresh report from 90min has claimed that three Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on Keita’s situation at Liverpool. It has been stated that Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are all monitoring Keita with the view to signing him next summer.

As it stands, Keita would be free to leave Anfield as a free agent at the end of the season. From January onwards, the midfielder would also be able to negotiate a contract with a club outside of England.

The report states that all three of the aforementioned clubs are considering making an offer for Keita at the end of the season. However, it has also been reported that there is “major interest” in his services from unnamed clubs in Germany, Italy, Spain and France.

Keita returned to training last week following more than two months on the sidelines. However, he was not fit enough to return to the bench for Saturday's defeat to Nottingham Forest, and has not played since the Community Shield win over Manchester City in July.
