Three Newcastle United matches to be shown in March as fixtures moved for TV

Newcastle United fans will be able to watch three of their matches in March on television after the Premier League announced the latest round of fixtures.

Many of the matches that were originally scheduled have been or are yet to be moved around due to domestic cup competitions, as well as continental competitions.

The away trip for Eddie Howe's men to Manchester City will take place on Saturday, March 4 (12.30pm) and will be shown on BT Sport with both sides looking to close the gap to league leaders Arsenal.

The Magpies will host Wolves on Sunday, March 12 (4.30pm) which will be shown on Sky Sports, while their game against Nottingham Forest at City Ground will now take place on a Friday, March 17. (8pm). The Premier League website says that game is subject to FA Cup participation, but both sides are out of the competition, Newcastle losing to Sheffield Wednesday and Forest being heavily beaten 4-1 by Blackpool in round three.
