Three people have been killed in a fatal collision in an East Sussex seaside town.
Emergency services were called to Decoy Drive in Eastbourne at around 11.10pm on Monday to reports of a single-vehicle crash.
Three men from Berkshire - aged 21, 32 and 36 - were pronounced dead at the scene.
Their next of kin have been informed and an investigation into the full circumstances of what happened is ongoing.
The road has now reopened.
Sussex Police is appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, anything leading up to it or has relevant CCTV footage that could help to get in touch online or call them on 101 quoting Operation Brinmore.
Images from the scene show a badly damaged car with a crumpled exterior and debris strewn to the floor.
A police cordon remains in place as an investigation is launched.
Forensic teams could also be seen working around an erected green screen behind a number of police lines.
