THREE men have been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged attempted murder in Dumfries and Galloway.
Police were called to a disturbance at a property on Wallace Court in Castle Douglas at around 11.30pm on Thursday.
A 38-year-old man was taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.
Police Scotland said on Friday that three men had been arrested over the disturbance and on Saturday
The force said the three men had been charged in connection with an alleged attempted murder.
The three men – aged 29, 39 and 49 – are due to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court on Monday.
