Three men have been arrested after a fight involving a knife at a restaurant next to Battersea Power Station, police have said.
A group of four people, one armed with a pocket knife, entered Tashas and “confronted a table of guests causing a commotion” shortly before 8.30pm on Monday, the restaurant said.
Eyewitnesses told the MailOnline that a group burst in and approached a couple who were enjoying a meal.
Staff members described how the couple were chased through the building and objects and food were tossed in the air as other customers fled the scene.
The Met Police told the Standard it was called to reports of a fight between four people at a venue inside Battersea Power Station.
The suspects fled the scene by car but were stopped by officers nearby, the force explained.
Two men aged 27 and one man aged 28 were arrested for possession of an offensive weapon and affray. All three remain in custody and no injuries were reported.
A spokesman for the Tashas Group told the Mail: “Our team responded swiftly and decisively, immediately alerting the police who later apprehended the suspects by identifying their car registration on the CCTV footage from the restaurant.
“We remain committed to providing a welcoming and safe space for our guests and staff and will continue to work proactively to uphold these standards.”
Police enquiries continue into the incident.
