Police say the 25-year-old suffered suspected stab wounds at the property.

The three defendants appeared separately before magistrates at South Tyneside Magistrates Court on Thursday, March 10.

The court heard how all three had been charged with murder.

Riches and Raine also face an additional charge of possession of a bladed article on March 5.

The men, who all wore grey sweatshirts, spoke only to confirm their names and addresses before being remanded in custody.

Magistrates sent the case to Newcastle Crown Court where a hearing will take place on Monday, March 14, at 10am.
