A trio of Monklands roads are set for spells of closure over the next couple of weeks.
Glenboig Road in Glenboig is closing for five days from March 7, from Drumcavel Road to Johnston Road.
This is to allow for the replacement of lighting columns and alternative routes include Avenuehead Road, Coatbridge Road A752, Cumbernauld Road and Gartloch Road B806.
And Airdrie's Kiltarie Crescent, between Towers Road and 50m eastwards, will shut from 9.30am to 2.30pm on March 8.
Scottish Water is carrying out manhole works and motorists are advised there will be no alternative routes on offer during the closure.
Finally, a Gartcosh road is shut until March 16 to “facilitate temporary traffic lights on the roundabout”.
Mowbray Avenue is closed between Woodneuk Terrace and the A752 roundabout, with Lochend Road and Manor Road available as diversions for drivers.
