Police have launched a probe after three baby lambs were stolen from a Scots farm.
The three young animals, just days old, were taken from a building in Inverness between Thursday and Friday last week.
The farm is situated on the road which runs between Keppoch Inn and the bridge across the River Nairn at Clava on the Culloden Moor.
Officers are appealing for information as part of their efforts to trace the lambs and the crooks responsible for their disappearance.
They are described as being just days old, with two being black-coloured and the other lamb being white.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We are looking for any information as to who is responsible or any suspicious persons or vehicles seen in the area described to please get in touch with Police Scotland.
"Call 101 quoting incident number 1685 of April 14 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800555111."
