Three teenagers have been arrested after a 19-year-old was doused in bleach in a 'senseless attack' in Salford.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident on Wortley Avenue at around 7pm last night (Tuesday). Police found a 19-year-old female had been attacked.
She had a substance thrown over her, which was later confirmed to be bleach, police said. She suffered minor injuries.

Three teenage females - two aged 19 and one aged 17 - have since been arrested on suspicion of assault. They all remain in police custody to be questioned by detectives.
Last night, a cordon was put in place in the area as forensic officers carried out investigations. One eyewitness told the M.E.N: "It's vile. I've seen some s**t around here, but that's top of it, that is. It was three girls who did it.
"They attacked one girl. I heard the screams, but at first I just thought they were playing. But then I realised they had thrown bleach all over her."
Another local resident described the incident as 'absolutely shocking'. Chief Inspector Darren Whitehead from GMP’s Salford district, said: "Fortunately this incident has not resulted in more serious consequences, but senseless attacks of this nature have the potential to cause life changing injuries.
"Officers responded quickly to this incident and three females have subsequently been arrested. Enquiries are ongoing."
